Today was actually somewhat busy. We did a lot of driving around retrieving and dropping off items and checking on our piece of property. We had to make sure everything was winterized. Belle had the most boring day she has had in a long time, she didn't go with us and sat at home all day. As for me, today felt almost like Christmas. I found some items I had not seen since we moved 4 years ago! The ride home felt so cozy and warm as I watched the rain drops streaming up the windshield and across the windows. I wish we had a fireplace here to curl up in front of. I made a pie this evening though! Now the house is filled with the wonderful aroma of homemade pie crust and baking pumpkin. Yum!
